STORY

I remember very vividly from my childhood days that my mother, (who lived until the ripe old age
of 105!) always brought us up on very healthy food, as she firmly believed “You Are What You Eat”.


This belief formed the bedrock of my upbringing and has stayed with me all my life...

Cooking healthy meals for my family and friends has always been one of my passions (along with
bridge and community service). However, just over 2 years ago, I attended a one day seminar on
Plant Based Diets, this was a turning point for me. Not only was this the most enlightening and life
changing day of my life but it gave me a completely new meaning to “healthy eating”.


This is the first time I truly learnt about and fully understood the profound health benefits, and
environmental and ethical advantages of a Vegan diet over any other. It is all about eating what
grows in the garden of our world. 

All plant based foods, including fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds etc. are the only and correct fuel that our bodies need to thrive, rejuvenate and naturally heal.

From this day on I turned Vegan and ever since then I have been exploring and experimenting with
new and varied ingredients and recipes, many of which are my own creations.


By the time when most people have long retired, at the age of 70, I launched “Fresh Vegan Meals”


A service providing freshly made, home cooked, vegan meals to an ever growing number of clients,
all with differing and unique needs. All our meals are plant based, oil free and sugar free using only
natural, wholesome and predominantly organic ingredients.


The best bit is that I am doing what I enjoy most, sharing my talents and following in my Mother's footsteps…….what could be a better blessing in life!
